Outside of Sunday mornings, small groups are the most important moments in the life of our church. Attend one this week. Worship and pray together. Hear and apply the gospel of grace. Grow as a holy temple. Be built up as a living, breathing, dwelling place for God by the Spirit (Eph 2:21-22).
It’s another Youth Ministry Sunday! This time around, the group is considering with the question: “Can’t we just be good without God?” Tackling the topic of where morality comes from, what it means to be good, and who gets to define it. Every six months, we hold a brief members’ meeting right after our Sunday service. These meetings last about 45 minutes and are filled with information you don’t want to miss. We’ll look back on what God has done in the last 6 months and look forward to where we believe he’s taking us. Come eager to hear what the Lord is doing to spread the joy of Jesus in Santa Ana - and beyond!
Are there still sacred spaces today? Tabernacles and temples? Holy structures built for encountering God? Do you long for something like this? Are you looking for majesty and reverence? Do you want to encounter God’s presence in a “thick,” “tangible” and “pervasive” way like Israel did in the Sinai wilderness? Then go to church. Because, on the other side of the greater exodus accomplished by Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to bring the presence of God home to our hearts. To make us a living, breathing, ever-expanding tabernacle and temple to our God until our Savior returns for us.
Tonight, the men of Cross of Grace will gather together to sit under the word, bear their brother’s burdens, and call out to the Lord in prayer. They’ll discuss Exodus 40:34-38 and talk about how we as men can take the gospel with us into every part of life. All guys 15 years and older are welcome to join in at the Robles’ home at 7pm.

Starting Point is a two-hour class designed to help you to get to know us, ask any questions you have, and take the next step in believing in Jesus and becoming part of the Cross of Grace family.
Are you ready to place your faith in Jesus? Then sign up to be baptized! We’re hosting our final baptism ceremony of the year right after church on Sunday, 11/1. We’ll gather at the Lee home to celebrate the saving work of God and share lunch together.
Baptism marks the beginning of the Christian life. It’s that moment when we confess with our mouth what we’ve believed in our heart (Rom 10:9-10). Standing in the presence of God and his people to profess our faith in the sacrificial death and victorious resurrection of Jesus. Signifying our personal share in his dying and rising as we’re immersed into the water and buried with Christ and then raised up with him to walk in newness of life (Rom 6:3-5). Experiencing the work of the Spirit as he seals the grace and promises of the gospel upon our heart.
If you are interested in being baptized, have questions about baptism, or want to place your faith in Jesus, talk to a member of the pastoral team. They’d be happy to help you take the first step of the Christian life.
