Youth Ministry

RESUMES THIS SUNDAY AT 6:30PM

The youth of Cross of Grace meet this Sunday to continue their line by line journey through the Apostles’ Creed. It reads, “I believe in…the forgiveness of sins.” But what is forgiveness? Why do we need it? How do we get it? Come ready to wrestle with the big questions of faith and receive the answers God provides. See you at Hopper & Burr!

How to Prepare for Service in the Park

4/26 @10AM

It’s time to take our joy in Jesus on the road. NEXT Sunday, April 26th, we’ll be taking our service right into the heart of French Park. Worshiping in the midst of our neighbors and welcoming them into the goodness of Jesus. Complete with coffee, donuts, and pan dulce to share.

Because this service will look a little different than a normal Sunday morning, here are a few things to note:

  • Children’s Ministry: We won’t be offering our regular children’s classes. Instead, kids will stay with their families during the service. To help them stay engaged, we’ll provide some simple activities to keep their hands busy while still allowing them to listen and participate.

  • What to Bring: We’ll provide a number of seats. But to make sure there’s enough to go around, we encourage you to bring your lawn chairs or blankets. We’ll have coffee and treats, but you’re welcome to bring some water and anything else you need to be comfortable outdoors.

  • Where to Park: Anywhere you can along French or Minter St. Additional parking can be found on Vance, Tenth, or the other surrounding streets.

We can’t wait to worship in the park! Mark your calendars, invite a friend, and join us for this special Sunday of celebrating Jesus in the center of our neighborhood.

5 More Bridge Course Meetings

EVERY MONDAY @ 7PM

Our 10-week exploration of the Christian faith has been going strong, and there are 5 sessions left! There’s still time to join in the conversation & we’ve got some important questions ahead!

  • Is Jesus really the only way?

  • Why did Jesus have to die?

  • Why do we matter?

  • Is Christianity really worth it?

  • Where do we go from here?

Know someone asking questions like this? Wondering about these things yourself? All are welcome to take their seat at the table and think through these things together.

What is Freedom For?

EXODUS 19:1-25

It's been 3 months since the exodus. The dust has finally settled and Israel is safely encamped in the wilderness. So what now? At this point in the prison break movie, the characters would stare off into the sunset and say, “What do you think you’ll do next?” After their epic escape, they’d daydream about the future, explore the possibilities, and then go their separate ways. Setting off to make their freedom count and figure out what life is all about. We’ve heard this story before. But Exodus is not that kind of story. Instead of scattering off into the sunset, Israel comes to a meeting at a mountain. There God appears to tell them what their freedom is for. It's not freedom for freedom's sake. It’s not up to us to figure it out. It’s not a choose your own adventure story. Far better than all this, from Sinai's heights God declares: “I didn’t bring you out for you. I brought you out for me. And that’s the best thing I could ever do for you.”

Easter 2026

WE REMEMBERED CHRIST’S DEATH

On Good Friday, we gathered for a special time of singing, reading the crucifixion story, and praying together. We came to the cross and reflected upon why Good Friday is called “good.” We remembered all the Savior endured for people like us, from people like us.

WE REJOICED IN HIS LIFE

Then on Easter Sunday, we arrived at the empty tomb and celebrated that death was not the end of the story! We rejoiced that because Jesus lives all those who believe in him shall never die! We sang songs of hope, heard good news of new life, and enjoyed sweet fellowship together. Thank you Anabel, Lily, & Rosie for setting up our photo booth this year! Take a look at some of the photos captured, additional photos can be accessed through our shared photo album linked here. If you took photos from your own phone feel free to upload them unto the shared album!

Whoever Believes Shall Never Die

JOHN 11:17-27

On Easter Sunday, we visited the tomb of Lazarus. We met his sister Martha in the midst of her grief. Just beyond her brother’s grave, Jesus said to her, “Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” In the middle of our own grief, suffering, and hardship, do we believe it? We can and we should. Because Lazarus’ exit from the grave and Christ’s own empty tomb prove this hope is not in vain. There is life on the other side of death. There is comfort on the other side of pain. There is a Savior who will meet us in our moments of deepest trouble and bring us into joys that never ever end.
