Small Groups Meet this Friday

COME AND BE ENCOURAGED

Every first & third Friday at 7pm, three different groups meet throughout our city to share in the joy of Jesus, care for one another, and apply the gospel to each other’s lives. Outside of Sunday mornings, small groups are the most important moments in the life of our church. Make it a priority to attend one this Friday.

Get Involved with the French Park Block Party

SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND AT 4:00PM

For a third year in a row, we’re bringing an afternoon of food, fun, and community to the French Park neighborhood! We’re throwing a party to bless our neighbors, build relationships with them, and be a compelling witness to the joy that’s found in Jesus.

But to do this, we need your help! This is our biggest event of the year and we’ll need all hands on deck to make it happen. There are many ways you can contribute to the celebration: pre-party neighborhood outreach & promotion, event set-up & clean-up, serving food, facilitating games, bringing key supplies, and more! Sign up below and contact Robert Lopez or our Church Administrator at office@crossofgracesa.org with any questions. Otherwise, start sharing the digital flier with your friends and pray that the Lord uses this event for the salvation and overall good of Santa Ana neighbors.

Summer Park Days are Back

NEW PARK. NEW DAY OF THE WEEK.

Starting June 25th, members of the church will be gathering for a casual park day every TUESDAY morning at 10am at Santiago Park in Santa Ana (600 E Memory Lane, Santa Ana). This is a once-a-week hangout to encourage fellowship in the church, meet our neighbors, and spend time in the city where we’ve been called.

Anyone is welcome, whether you have kids or not. Bring a blanket or chair and some snacks and join us every Tuesday this summer. We hope to see you there!

The Uncompromising Holiness of God

HE IS A GOD LIKE NO OTHER

Why does God take our sin so seriously? Because he is uncompromisingly holy. Like no other. Perfect in all of his ways. Never compromising upon what it means for him to be him. But we are filled with compromise and our sin causes us not to belong before him. In Isaiah 6:1-7, we are confronted by the raging fire of his holiness. Which shines forth a light that exposes all that is dark, dirty, and unlike himself within us. And gives off a heat which burns up every impurity that comes into his presence. So how can people like us stand before a God like him? We must be cleansed from sin. Listen to the sermon to learn how we are meant to respond to the holiness of God.

Free Summer Movies in Santa Ana

GRAB SOME FRIENDS AND ENJOY A MOVIE WITH OUR NEIGHBORS

Summer is here and Movies in the Park are back! These movie nights are a great way to spend time together in the midst of our neighbors. Pick a night (or a few!) and make plans to go into the city this summer!

Movies will take place for seven weeks at seven different parks, every Friday beginning June 7. Each event will feature a screening of a family-friendly movie with free popcorn available while supplies last. You can expect food trucks, jumpers, and other themed activities as well. Arrive early to find parking and pick your spot & bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supplies.

Make the Best Use of This 5th Friday

THERE IS NO SMALL GROUP THIS WEEK

This Friday is a 5th Friday, which means small groups won’t be meeting together.

USE THE OPPORTUNITY OF A FREE FRIDAY

It also means that it’s an extra free night to spend time with your neighbors! Who can you invite over for dinner? Maybe text a few people and head down to Downtown Santa Ana. Have a game night with friends from work and friends from church. Host a movie night in your neighborhood. Use this extra Friday as an extra opportunity to spend time together.
