What a Party!

2026 BLOCK PARTY RECAP

Our 5th Annual French Park Block Party is in the books, and it was the best one yet! Over 130 church members and French Park neighbors came together for an afternoon of food, fun, and cultivating community. We laughed, we limboed, and we ate nearly 400 tacos - all to the glory of God!

Through it all, God used your faithful presence as a church to bless French Park, form new friendships with our nearest neighbors, and shine forth the joy we have in Jesus. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to love our neighbors and for the many hands that made it all possible! As you look through the complete photo album would it cause you to praise the Lord for what he’s doing to bless our neighbors and bring them into his joy.

Emily’s Spain Report

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING AND PARTNERING

Our dear friend and missionary, Emily Jones returned to Santa Ana after being away for almost a year! We had the joy of spending a couple weeks catching up and receiving a report of what’s been happening on the mission field. This Sunday, she shared what God has done in year one and expressed her gratitude for your gospel partnership with her and our sister church, Iglesia Gracia Soberana de Santander.

Her update was filled with evidences of God’s faithfulness and missional frutifulness. God has provided for her material needs. Opened the door for the church to church to relocate to a new meeting space in the heart of the city - which has led to new guests each week! Answered specific prayers for individuals highlighted in her monthly newsletters. And brought about so many gospel conversations between Emily and neighbors from different cultures, languages, and nations.

Enjoy some pictures she shared and be encouraged that God is at work to spread the joy of Jesus all the way from Santa Ana to Santander. Also, consider partnering with her through giving & signing up for her monthly newsletter.

The 8th Commandment

NO STEALING

We may not think it, but we're all thieves. Every one of us has taken something that didn't belong to us. Not returning something to a friend. Shoplifting. Helping ourselves to some supplies from the office. Squandering the precious resources we've been given. Up to the biggest theft of all: stealing the glory that's meant for God alone. The 8th Commandment challenges us to turn away from sinful taking and embrace lives of generous giving. We can do this. We should do this. We are compelled to do this because Christ gave himself for us. He came to this earth, did not demand what was rightfully his, and was crucified between two thieves in order to set us free from being slaves to stuff. And now, because we have him, we can gladly give anything else away.

Women's Summer Potluck

TONIGHT AT 6:30PM

Every summer, our women’s ministry takes a break from its regular monthly meetings to enjoy a series of potlucks. The ladies of our church gather together to share meals and stories of God’s grace. This is a great event to invite your friends, especially friends who aren’t sure what they believe, don’t attend church, or are new to the faith.

This time around the ladies of Cross of Grace will be gathering at the Cunningham home. See you tonight for powerful testimonies of God’s restoration and a buffet of your favorite things to eat!

The 7th Commandment

NO ADULTERY

Infidelity should be serious to God’s people, because fidelity is so serious to God. The God who makes covenant at Sinai is the God who never breaks covenant with his people. Because of this, we should be the kind of people who keep our covenants to each other. And the most significant covenant relationship we ever make is that of marriage. We should be the kind of people who keep our vows to our spouses and do everything we can to respect and esteem the marriages of others. But to do this we must depend on the faithfulness of Jesus. The perfect husband to his imperfect bride. The One who will honor his vows even when we fall short of honoring him. The Savior who forgives all our unfaithfulness.

Small Groups

FINAL SMALL GROUPS BEFORE FALLOW MONTH

This week, 4 groups will meet throughout our city to share in the joy of Jesus and apply his gospel to each other’s lives. Outside of Sunday mornings, small groups are the most important hours we spend together. Make it a priority to attend because these will be our last meetings before the summer small group break.
