The "One Anothers" of Scripture

Who Are The One Anothers? They're Your Fellow Members In Your Local Church

God has given Christians the privilege, by virtue of being united with Christ, of being members in His eternal family; the Church. It is no less a privilege for us to be identified as members in a local church. God has even been so kind as to help us to know how to live with our brothers and sisters in the local church. Over 40 passages in Scripture, all containing the phrase "one another" instruct us as to how members of a local church build each other up in Christ. Check out this visually attractive infographic from challies.com to see them all in one place.

We Are Partners

WE BELIEVE WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER WITH SOVEREIGN GRACE CHURCHES

Jesus has promised His presence to be with us in the mission He's called us to. He's also given us other local churches with whom we have the privilege of partnering with. We're committed to them. They're committed to us. This is the kind of partnership you want your local church to be a part of. God will spread the joy of Jesus through Downtown Santa Ana through it. Preaching Through Colossians

A NEW YEAR. A NEW BOOK OF THE BIBLE.

Beginning on the second Sunday in January, we'll be embarking on our first preaching series through a book of the Bible. It will be an expository series through the book of Colossians. This is a book about Jesus, the new life given through Him and the shape this new life takes in the local church.

You can do several things to prepare for this series. You can pray that God would use His preached Word to build Sovereign Grace Santa Ana. You can invite your friends and neighbors to join us in this series. Finally, you can begin reading the book of Colossians yourself and even study up with some resources.

Come Ring In The New Year in DTSA

JOIN US AT THE HOULTON APARTMENT AFTER THE SERVICE ON NEW YEARS EVE

2017 has been a big year for Sovereign Grace Santa Ana. It's the year that, in God's kindness, we came into existence! We have much to celebrate and thank God for. On Sunday, December 31st, immediately following the service, you're invited to head over to Kyle and Kelsey Houlton's apartment for a celebration. We'll look back on 2017 and thank God for His goodness. We'll look forward to 2018 and prayerfully expect God to do more.

Night owls can stay through midnight. Early birds can celebrate an "East Coast" new year and then head home at 9pm. Either way, come and join  us. Refreshments will be served.

Jesus Has Sent Us On A Mission

WE EXIST TO SPREAD THE JOY OF JESUS IN DOWNTOWN SANTA ANA

God has given His Church a job description; it's what each church has been designed and called to be doing in the world. This job description is the mission of the church. That mission is to multiply and mature disciples. At Sovereign Grace Santa Ana, we pray that God would give us the courage, compassion and faithfulness to do just that among our Downtown Santa Ana neighbors.

Pastors Lead The Church As They Follow Christ

GOD CALLS WILLING AND QUALIFIED MEN TO LEAD, FEED AND PROTECT HIS CHURCH

This last Sunday, in our 5th message in the series describing the 7 Values we share with all Sovereign Grace Churches, guest preacher Dustin Smetona helped to answer the question, "who leads the local church?". Biblically, we believe that Christ leads the Church and has appointed pastors to lead in local churches until He returns.
