Our mission is to spread the joy of Jesus to our Santa Ana neighbors. One of the ways we advance this mission is through The Bridge Course. A class we offer each fall that creates a context for our neighbors who are skeptical, seeking, unsure of what they believe, or are brand new to the Christian faith to come and have honest conversations about the most important questions in life. Over the course of 10 weeks, we’ll share meals, build relationships, and learn how the Bible answers those big questions.

Know someone who is looking for answers? Isn’t sure what they believe? Has doubts about Christianity or is investigating the faith? Bring them to Bridge! The course is entirely free. No homework or preparation needed. And your guests will never be pressured to participate more than they’re comfortable. It’s a safe place to explore the Christian faith and enjoy community along the way.

A CELEBRATION OF OUR UNITY IN CHRIST IN THE MIDST OF OUR DIVERSITY

On Sunday, September 15th, we’ll be hosting our annual “Festival of Nations” celebration. Coinciding with Fiestas Patrias and Dia De La Independencia, we’ll celebrate what God has built in our church through the gospel - a gathering of people from different nationalities and heritages into one new family in Christ.

HOW CAN YOU PREPARE?

1. Bring a dish (entree, dessert or side) representing your national heritage. Bring your best effort. The results will be judged and the “Best In The World” award will be given to the individual whose dish impressed the most. Multiple dishes per family are ok! 

2. Join us at 4pm on Sunday, September 15th in the Madrigal backyard.

A CLASS BY OUR CHURCH FOR OUR NEIGHBORS

Each fall we host The Bridge Course. A 10-week opportunity to explore the Christian faith, wrestle with the big questions of life, and build relationships with our neighbors. Each week begins with a meal followed by a talk that addresses common questions about life and God. Afterward there is a small-group conversation where participants can share what they believe, ask any questions they have, or just sit back and listen. No one will be called upon, pressured to talk, or forced to believe anything. Click here to learn more about how it works.

Why Bridge?

Because the course creates a context for us to bless and befriend our neighbors, show them the joy we have in Jesus, and invite them to receive it for themselves. How great is that! Our goal is that each of us would invite at least one neighbor, family member, co-worker, or friend who is not yet a Christian, not sure what they believe, or is new to the faith and looking to learn more to join in. JULY 12-15, 2024 PRESCOTT, ARIZONA

Starting tomorrow through July 15th, students from all 9 churches in the Sovereign Grace Church West Region will gather together for a time of worship, teaching, games, and lip-sync battles, all to the glory of God!

In our church alone, there will be 6 youth going and Kelsey Houlton will be chaperoning! Would you join us in praying for all the youth and leaders that are attending.

BE THERE THIS SATURDAY FROM 4PM-7PM

Our Block Party is finally here! You’ve been praying for the Lord to give us opportunities to spread the joy of Jesus to our Santa Ana neighbors. You’ve been looking for ways to make the church’s neighbors your neighbors. Well, here’s your biggest opportunity of the year. On Saturday, we’ll gather together with all our neighbors in order to bless them, build up the French Park community, and bear witness to the joy we have in Jesus. All this will happen as we eat tacos, play games, make friends, and enjoy an evening of summer fun!

Make this the most important thing on your calendar this Saturday. Sign up to volunteer if you haven’t yet. Post the invite to your social media accounts. Invite other Santa Ana neighbors. SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND AT 4:00PM

For a third year in a row, we’re bringing an afternoon of food, fun, and community to the French Park neighborhood! We’re throwing a party to bless our neighbors, build relationships with them, and be a compelling witness to the joy that’s found in Jesus.

But to do this, we need your help! This is our biggest event of the year and we’ll need all hands on deck to make it happen. There are many ways you can contribute to the celebration: pre-party neighborhood outreach & promotion, event set-up & clean-up, serving food, facilitating games, bringing key supplies, and more! It’s back again! For the third year running, we’re throwing a party to show our neighbors how glad we are to be their neighbors. We’re taking our joy in Jesus right into the heart of our neighborhood for an evening of celebration complete with tacos, music, games, and more! Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to build community and extend God’s welcome to the people of French Park.

AN OUTWARD SIGN OF AN INWARD WORK

Baptism is one of the sweetest moments in the life of the church. It’s a visible portrayal of the effects of the gospel in a person. A means of grace given to us in order to participate in God’s promise of new life in Christ. Professing our faith in Jesus, making our public entrance into his people, and representing our union with him in his death and resurrection - dying to sin and being raised to walk in newness of life. It’s also an act of obedience, something that every believer is commanded to do.

BAPTISM IMMEDIATELY AFTER SERVICE THIS SUNDAY AT THE CUNNINGHAM HOME

Join us at the Cunningham home immediately after church this Sunday (4/14) to celebrate the baptism of new believers and have a hotdog lunch. If you’re interested in being baptized or have questions about baptism, please contact one of our pastors.

CELEBRATE WITH US

Easter Sunday is this Sunday! Join us at the Ebell Club at 10:00am as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We’ll hear the good news of new life, take family photos, and enjoy an egg hunt for the kids.
