This August, Prayer in the Park returns. Prayer is central to our mission and, in 2023, our small groups have been taking to French Park on the the first Friday of the month to pray for the good of our neighborhood. Asking Jesus to save Santa Anans, meet our neighbors according to his grace, and open doors for sharing his gospel and spreading his joy.
Cool down this summer with a trip to the splash pad! Join us tomorrow morning as we spend time together and enjoy a Southern California summer to the glory of God! Invite your Santa Ana neighbors and friends to meet us at Veterans Sports Park Splash Pad in Tustin for an awesome time of community and fun.

Details: This is an adults only dinner event. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and kayaks as there is easy access to paddle along the bay. Bring your blankets and chairs and we’ll bring the rest!
Last week, we asked you to save the date. Here’s why: because if you’re reading this and you’ve been volunteering on any ministry team at Cross of Grace Santa Ana over the past year, we want you to know how deeply appreciated you are. The pastoral team is grateful for your joyful and sacrificial service. The members of the church whom you serve through your volunteer roles are built up by your selflessness.
Volunteering within a church can be hard and oftentimes thankless work. We know that you don’t do it for the thanks, but for the honor and glory of the Lord (1 Cor 10:31). Nevertheless, it’s our joy to thank you through a special sunset beach dinner on July 29. We’ll meet at a waveless beach in Orange County for a special evening to reflect on God’s grace through our joyful partnership in the gospel together.

It has been 2 years since we last gathered together for a big Volunteer Appreciation Event. We had a wonderful dinner followed by a time of an expression of our gratitude and reminder of the imminent worth of continuing to labor to spread the joy of Jesus in Santa Ana.
This year, we’re not only planning to once again express our gratitude to all of our volunteers, but we’re also planning something BIG. For now, mark your calendars and plan on attending our next Volunteer Appreciation Event which will take place in the evening on Saturday, July 29th.

Our Block Party is finally here! You’ve been praying for the Lord to give us opportunities to spread the joy of Jesus to our Santa Ana neighbors. You’ve been looking for ways to make the church’s neighbors your neighbors. Well, here’s one of the biggest opportunities of the year for outreach in our community. On Saturday, we’ll gather within and with the whole French park community. Make this the most important thing on your calendar this Saturday. Sign up to volunteer if you haven’t yet. Post the invite to your social media accounts. Invite other Santa Ana neighbors. Above all, pray that God would spread the joy of His Son through us this weekend. Our Block Party is less than 2 weeks away! You can participate in the following ways:
Every six months, we hold a brief members meeting after service which usually lasts about 30 minutes. This meeting is mandatory for all members, but guests are welcome as well. This meeting is a time to communicate what we wouldn’t communicate on a typical Sunday morning. We’ll look back on what God has graciously done in the last 6 months in our church and look forward to where we believe God is taking us as a church. Come this Sunday eager to hear what God is up to in our church.
As you begin planning for summer, we invite you to join us as we gather for weekly activities over the next few months. From park days in our city, to beach days and movie nights, let’s experience and spread the joy of Jesus to to our neighbors.

For a second year in a row, we’re bringing an afternoon of food, fun, and community to the French Park neighborhood. We’re throwing a party to show our neighbors how glad we are to be their neighbors. It’s our hope they’d catch a glimpse of the joy we have in Jesus and come to enter into that joy themselves.
There are many ways to get involved with this event: pre-party neighborhood outreach & promotion, event set-up & clean-up, serving food, facilitating games, bringing key supplies, and more! Contact Jerry Requena or our Church Administrator at office@crossofgracesa.org with questions or to take the initiative and to sign up to help. Otherwise, pray that the Lord uses this event for the salvation and the overall good of our Santa Ana neighbors.
