Serve with Bridge
A CLASS BY OUR CHURCH FOR OUR NEIGHBORS
Our mission is to spread the joy of Jesus to our Santa Ana neighbors. One of the ways we advance this mission is through The Bridge Course. A class we offer each fall that creates a context to invite our neighbors who are skeptical, seeking, unsure of what they believe, or are brand new to the Christian faith to come and have honest conversations about the most important questions in life.
what’s bridge?
The Bridge Course is a 10-week opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a fun and relaxed way. Each week this spring we’ll share coffee and dessert, build relationships with our guests, and then listen to a talk that addresses common questions about life and God. Afterward there is a small-group conversation where participants can share what they believe, ask any questions they have, or just sit back and listen. HOW YOU CAN participate
This time around, we’re running what we’re calling a “pedestrian” Bridge Course. Here’s what that means:
No meals this time around. We’re just doing coffee and dessert.
Not much prep or clean up required. So we won’t need volunteers to set up and tear down.
We’ve already got Discussion Leaders and Assistants for the men’s and women’s groups in place. If you’re interested in serving this way, reach out to Robert Lopez and he’ll let you know if we need to add more discussion facilitators into the mix.
The one and only ask is this: bring a friend and attend with them. That’s it. We’ve got coffee, dessert, and discussion leaders, we just need guests to welcome into the joy of Jesus.
In interest of keeping this spring course simpler, smaller, and more intimate we’re asking that members of Cross of Grace sit this one out if they’re not bringing someone along with them.
Ask yourself who you’ll bring to Bridge & pray for us each Monday night this spring! Expecting God to take our ordinary efforts and do extraordinary things!
